James's Story

James has struggled with a hearing loss for many years. He was getting frustrated that he could not hear his friends and was constantly asking them to repeat what they said. Communicating with everyone was becoming exceedingly difficult. That is when James decided to schedule an evaluation with Miracle-Ear in Aliquippa, PA.  Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Michael Scarmack tested James and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Michael suggested that he apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation.  James was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare. Supporting better hearing in the Aliquippa community is something this local Miracle-Ear franchise is proud to be a part of. James is one of nearly 16,000 individuals nationwide that the Miracle-Ear Foundation has supported. James is thrilled with his new hearing aids. He is so excited to be able to hear everything he was missing and will finally be able to enjoy everyday life. James is so incredibly grateful to the Miracle-Ear Foundation for giving him the gift of sound!
