Kennedy's Story
Kennedy has coped with hearing loss since he was a child. He recently recieved the gift of sound and life-time aftercare from the Miracle-Ear Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports underserved individuals with their hearing healthcare needs. As someone who found communicating with everyone becoming exceedingly difficult, Kennedy knew he had to seek support. Growing tired of asking everyone to repeat themselves, Kennedy reached out to Miracle-Ear in Bedford, PA. Miracle-Ear Hearing Specialist Amy Dunmyer tested Kennedy and confirmed the need for hearing aids but quickly determined that the cost of hearing aids was out of his reach. Amy suggested that he apply for assistance from the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Kennedy was approved and fitted with donated hearing aids as well as life-time aftercare. Kennedy is thrilled with his new hearing aids. He is looking forward to enjoying the little things in life he had been missing out on like hearing his friends and family. Kennedy is so grateful for the help Amy and the Miracle-Ear Foundation has given him with the Gift of Sound.
